Quanto maior a corrente de sobrecarga, mais r\u00e1pido o motor atinge seu aumento de temperatura m\u00e1ximo permitido. Componentes de prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra sobrecarga comumente usados, como rel\u00e9s t\u00e9rmicos, s\u00e3o projetados para resolver esse problema.
