Bei einem einphasigen Motor ist diese Voraussetzung jedoch zun\u00e4chst nicht erf\u00fcllt.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fehlen eines anf\u00e4nglichen Anlaufdrehmoments<\/strong><br \/>\nIm Gegensatz zu Drehstrommotoren, die bei Einschalten ein rotierendes Magnetfeld erzeugen, erzeugt ein Einphasen-Induktionsmotor unter normalen Bedingungen kein Anlaufdrehmoment. Das Magnetfeld in einem Einphasenmotor wechselt hin und her, wodurch der Rotor station\u00e4r bleibt. Dieses fehlende Anlaufdrehmoment bedeutet, dass der Motor nicht von selbst in Rotation versetzt werden kann.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wirkung der induzierten Str\u00f6me des Rotors<\/strong><br \/>\nBei einem einphasigen Induktionsmotor erf\u00e4hrt der Rotor wechselnde Magnetfelder, wenn Spannung an den Stator angelegt wird. Da sich die Felder jedoch nicht drehen, sind die induzierten Str\u00f6me im Rotor schwach und erzeugen kein ausreichendes Drehmoment zum Starten des Motors. Der Rotor schwingt lediglich, gewinnt aber nicht gen\u00fcgend Schwung, um sich von selbst zu drehen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anlaufmechanismen f\u00fcr Einphasenmotoren<\/strong><br \/>\nUm dieses Problem zu l\u00f6sen, ben\u00f6tigen Einphasenmotoren typischerweise einen externen Startmechanismus. G\u00e4ngige Methoden sind beispielsweise die Verwendung eines Kondensators, eines Spaltpols oder einer Spaltphasenwicklung. Diese Techniken dienen dazu, eine Phasenverschiebung zwischen den Str\u00f6men in den Motorwicklungen zu erzeugen, wodurch ein rotierendes Magnetfeld entsteht oder das notwendige Drehmoment zum Starten des Motors erreicht wird.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bedarf an zus\u00e4tzlichen Startkomponenten<\/strong><br \/>\nBei vielen Einphasenmotoren wird ein Anlaufkondensator oder eine Kondensator-Laufkonstruktion eingesetzt, um beim Anlaufen vor\u00fcbergehend ein rotierendes Magnetfeld zu erzeugen.
